The Importance of Diwali

In the early evening, everyone in the house gets together for the Puja of Goddess Lakshmi which signifies that the specific household will be provided with prosperity, happiness, and wealth all year long. During the Puja, everyone sits together and often the gifts are shared and love is celebrated. The lighted up houses and the fun and waves of laughter in the house portray such a happy image.
